Ultraviolet-visible Spectroscopic Microscope

Ultraviolet Visible Spectroscopy or Spectrophotometry refers to absorption spectroscopy or reflectance spectroscopy in the ultraviolet visible spectral region. Light is passed through a sample substance to determine its transmittance and reflectance.

When not in use by faculty or students, it can be reserved for use. The microscope is available to rent per hour. Please contact the department for scheduling.
