Admission Requirements

Becoming a physics education major

The physics, astronomy and Materials Physics department at Missouri State accepts and encourages all students interested in pursuing a bachelor’s degree in physics education.

Our department has no specific admission requirements, so any student who wishes to become a major in our department can declare physics as their major by:

  1. Completing a Change of Curriculum-Advisement form available at the Academic Advisement Center, University Hall 109
  2. Bringing the completed form to the office of the physics, astronomy and Materials Physics department, Kemper Hall 101, to be assigned an advisor
