If entering the MAT Program, Foundations in Special Education (SPE 715 (3)) and Psychology of Education (PSY 710 (3)) need to be taken during the candidate's BS program so that the courses are completed before the summer SFR 797 course is taken.

GPA requirements include: at least a 2.50 GPA on all courses attempted at all colleges attended; at least a 2.50 GPA in the certificate subject area (major field of study); at least a 2.50 GPA in any additional certificate subject area; at least a 2.50 GPA in the professional educational courses; and no grade lower than a "C" in all professional education courses.

Other requirements include: CBASE score of 265 or higher or completion of waiver contract to continue in BSED program beyond SEC 302 and for graduation; Praxis II exam must be taken prior to Supervised Teaching semester.
