Physics, Astronomy, and Materials Science Department
The purpose of the Ozarks Amateur Astronomers Club is to create and foster public interest in astronomy through presentations and public observing nights. Presentations are given throughout the academic year to schools and various groups around the Ozarks. Club members support the NASA Observing Night held at Baker Observatory early each fall semester and late each spring semester. The club also holds monthly star parties, which are open to paid members and to those who wish to become members.
