Teaching

I teach introductory and intermediate astronomy courses.

Current Course

AST 311 MW 1:00 to 1:50 P.M.

          and W  7:15 to 9:30 P.M.

 

Research

I use telescopes and CCD cameras at Baker Observatory to measure brightness of Cepheid variable stars in order to learn more about their physical properties.

Current Research

Variability of Yellow Supergiant Stars.

 

Service

In addition to committee work, I am the Faculty Adviser for the Ozarks Amateur Astronomers Club.

NASA Observing Night

Each semester, a public night is held at Baker Observatory to allow viewing through the telescopes there.
