Physics, Astronomy, and Materials Science Department
Located in Webster County, Missouri about 30 miles northeast of the main campus, the Observatory houses two permanently mounted telescopes, a 0.4-m Cassegrain reflector and a 0.36-m Schmidt-Cassegrain.
Located in Kemper Hall Room 200 on campus, the AIAL has 6 workstations and 3 astronomical servers for image analysis.
Missouri State University is a founding member of the Consortium.
Funding is provided for student interns to assist faculty in their research activities.
