To apply for any of the following scholarships, use this procedure:
Log in to the My Missouri State portal using your Bear Pass ID.
Go to the Profile Tab within My Missouri State.
Go to the Financial Aid Channel within the Profile Tab.
Select the General and Departmental Application Link.
Fill out the online application to be considered for all of the 800+ Foundation Scholarships available at Missouri State.
Kenneth A. Soxman Scholarship
Amount: $
Requirements:
- MSU Physics Major
- Junior
- Physics GPA - 3.0
- Enrolled in at least 12 hours per semester during award
- Demonstrated desire to teach high school physics
- Awarded only once per individual
Howard Petefish Award
Amount: $
Requirements:
- MSU Physics Major
- Junior
- Overall GPA - 3.0
- Physics GPA - 3.5
- Enrolled in at least 12 hours per semester during award
- Awarded only once per individual
John W. Northrip, III Award
Amount: $
Requirements:

- PAMS GPA - 3.0
- Enrolled in at least 12 hours per semester during award

Banks Family Scholarship

Pre-Engineering/Engineering Physics Scholarship

- Overall GPA - 2.75
- PAMS GPA - 3.0
- Demonstrated practical 'hands-on' engineering aptitude
- Enrolled in at least 12 hours per semester during award
